What you can expect

• Cleaning, sanding, and degreasing workpieces in preparation for painting
• Mixing paints, varnishes, and protective coatings according to specifications, including color matching
• Applying paints and coatings to metal, plastic, and wood using spray gun, roller, or dipping methods
• Sandblasting steel structures
• Controlling drying and curing processes, partly by baking in an oven
• Inspecting painted surfaces for bubbles, streaks, and uneven coverage
• Repairing paint defects and repainting damaged areas
• Documenting the materials used and work processes
• Timely execution – Careful, precise, and on-time completion of all tasks.
• Communication & Collaboration – Clear communication and close, cross-departmental collaboration with all internal departments.

What you bring

• Relevant experience as an industrial painter or painter
• Cleaning, sanding and degreasing of workpieces to prepare for painting
• Mixing of paints, lacquers and protective coatings including color matching
• Applying paints and coatings using spray gun, roller or dipping processes
• Inspecting surfaces for bubbles, streaks and uneven coverage, and touching up paint defects
• Safe handling of chemical substances and compliance with safety regulations
• Working style & social skills – Independent and structured working style, as well as strong team and communication skills.
• Personal attributes – Flexibility, reliability and a high level of commitment.
