What to expect

• Forklift operations – Safe driving and operation of the forklift truck in the wood production area.
• Loading and unloading – Professional loading and unloading of trucks, as well as storing and retrieving wood products and materials.
• Material transport – In-house transport and timely supply of raw materials and finished products for production, warehouse, and dispatch.
• Vehicle inspection – Daily inspection of the forklift for operational safety, as well as careful handling of the vehicle and equipment.
• Safe working practices – Compliance with all safety and accident prevention regulations during in-house transport of goods.

What you bring to the table

• Forklift licence – A valid forklift licence is required.
• Professional experience – Practical experience as a forklift operator, ideally in a production or timber environment.
• Safe driving manner – Skilled and responsible manoeuvring when transporting loads.
• German skills – German language skills at A2 level for workplace communication and safety instructions.
• Technical aptitude – Good understanding of load distribution and safe picking up of goods.
• Reliability – Independent, meticulous and safety-conscious approach to work.
